Okay, someone in this forum mentioned how good Aretha Frankenstein pancakes are. Well, I noticed the Aretha Frankenstein mix in our Publix, so I had to try it.

The mix requires buttermilk and eggs, so I bought the highest quality REAL buttermilk I could find. My wife made the pancakes for us, and they were GREAT. They were fluffy and had the perfect consistency, especially when I added butter and my favorite corn syrup type pancake syrup (no, not HFCS).

I know, I know, your favorite pancakes are your own "made from scratch" recipe. However, when my wife made the pancakes she commented that they are basically "from scratch", with someone else putting the dry ingredients together for you.

They are definitely worth a try.

Ha!ha! That would be me. I love them. I originally bought them just because of the name. Well to me surprise they were great. I can't buy them in Massachusetts so I stock up on my trips to Tybee Island, GA. I shop at the Publix in Savannah while down there. Anywho I'm glad you liked them.
I couldn't rep you yet. Sorry!

Well, thanks for mentioning them. We absolutely love how fluffy and flavorful they are, and they're all natural. Well, until I pour my corn syrup pancake syrup over them.

Amazon to the rescue. They have waffle mix and other pancake flavors, too. Prime available.

https://www.amazon.com/Aretha-Franke.../dp/B005DM5CP8

I'd guess you can them from the pancake company website, too.
