I started buying cubes of it when I go out grocery shopping. It's a lot cheaper than meat, although I still eat any meat with gusto. I think a nice crispy, salted cube of tofu is just as satisfying and saves me some cash, too.

I just like it. Have you tried the smoked version?

In Thai or Chinese recipes that specifically call for tofu, sure. But not as a substitute for meat.

We use it frequently. Press for an evening to dry, cube and marinate in the AM, then brown in the evening with veggies and chickpeas with some goat cheese. YUM!

The silky tofu makes for an excellent chocolate creme pie!

I use tofu in miso soup. Though I haven't made it in a while, I really like tofu eggless salad.

I'll eat it in miso soup, but I really don't care for it. Maybe if I had it prepared by someone who knows what they're doing with it I'd like it.

Not me, that stuff tastes gross and feel slimy. Sure, I guess you could make tofu taste OK if you smother it with sauces and seasoning.......I'll pass.

Plus, I heard it will give you moobies if you eat too much.

I use tofu for stir fry meals, in veggie lasagnas, and sometimes in quinoa dishes. I only buy tofu when I can find non-GMO tofu though.

If I even thought about bringing tofu into our non vegetarian home Mr. CSD would be ordering out pizza all the time.
