Hello All...

Starbucks is offering 1/2 priced Frappuccinos from May 4-13 from 3-5pm at participating stores. I'm so happy I could faint from sheer joy. Love Frapps, but never buy them due to the cost... so this is the perfect opportunity for other Starbuckian frugal-ites like me.

Check http://www.starbucks.com/store-locator to find a store near you.

Enjoy!

Marie... I adore you. The 1st person I mentioned this to said they hated coffee AND Starbucks. I fainted...

With the 2nd person, it was the same. I fainted again...

Enjoy!!! People who don't drink coffee are conundrums to me!

Later today, I shall be @ SB @ 3pm for my Happy Hour 1/2-priced Joy-Drink!

Also, Sonic malts and shakes half price after 8pm, all summer. Immeasurably superior to anything at Starbucks -- and cheaper.

I tend to stay more toward coffee drinks, but, I'll have to give them a look, thanks, Jtur. In summer, sometimes I have a banana split for dinner when the temps are scorching high. Never heard of Sonic so I'll have to look them up.

Sonic is a mostly southern chain headquartered in Oklahoma, but have quite a few locations in California's Central Valley. Originally, they had reputation of being a rinky-dink chain with carhop service in towns too small to have a McDonalds, but have recently become a big player with over 3,000 locations in 45 states. I lived in a Missouri town with a Sonic and a McDonalds about a block apart, and whenever I drove by, there were always twice as many cars at Sonic as at McD, which gave me a sort of cheerful hope for humanity. Their shakes are made with real icecream.

There were quite a few Sonic locations built in my area several years ago but they all closed. They just never seemed to catch on here and didn't ever have much business.

Thanks. I adore you too, for passing on such great information!

I sent out a mass email to my friends and people were just as thrilled as I was to hear about the discount.
