Is there any way to restore the coating on a non-stick pan? I have several where the coating is peeling off, and I do not want to use them. All I can do is line the pan with foil and use it for warming left-overs.

Any ideas on what to do with these pans? I hate to just send them to the dump.

I'd throw them away. I think Teflon is being phased out over health concerns.

I always wondered why food went right through me back in the 1990's until I started using better quailty pans.

I hear you. I bought one of the green ceramic coated pans you see advertised on TV. I really like it, but wish they made it in a larger (paella pan) size with a lid.

Does anyone know how long the green ceramic coating holds up?
