Just discovered Mexican Coke at a SAM's Club in Tennessee, and this stuff is amazing. American Coke tastes so... bitter in comparison. I'm hooked on the stuff and won't be able to sleep tonight

Anyone who has drank Mexican Coke: What's your take on it?

Mexican Coke has cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup and is less bitter than the U.S. counterpart. All I know is it seems to taste better. To me it tastes like I remember Coca-Cola tasting in the 70's.

I was going to respond when I saw the title to this thread, but just realized it is about the soft drink.

Cane sugar, fructose corn syrup. . . . .

Yup. That is exactly right.

Soft drinks with sugar taste COMPLETELY different from their corn syrup counterparts.

Crisper...cleaner...no cloying aftertaste.

I don't drink soda anymore, but I really liked the Mexcian Coke and the 'throwback' Dew and Pepsi, etc.

My local taqueria carries Mexican coke, in the glass bottles. Occasionally I'll spring for one.

I had my first Mexican Coke just the other day. The last time that I had a real Coke was in 2005--I had a serious addiction and quit cold turkey. When I saw the Mexican Coke, I was curious since I had heard so much about it, but I was also concerned that my addiction would come roaring back. Quite the opposite. First, it was a small glass bottle. It was not so sweet, was refreshing, but I do not have the cravings that was my main concern. I still think that a McDonald's Coke is the best, but I certainly can see why others think Mexican Coke is better. I am just glad that the addiction has not returned.

I think the MC seems sweeter to me than AC & is quite pricey.

Mexican coke has that crisp taste, that I remember how Coke used to taste...American Coke, tastes flat to me, not the same as it used to, when it came in those small bottles...I used to get the 6 oz size.

Mexican Coke is marginally better but not really that big a deal considering the price. If you're smart, buy the Coke with the yellow caps they sell around passover, that's Kosher Coke and it's made with cane sugar as well & comes in 2 liter bottles instead of the glass bottles the Mexican Coke comes in.
