"It's all going to the same place"

"You're stomach doesn't have a clock" -but actually mine does

and the worst advice I ever got from my mother
"Men don't like casseroles"

I just ate like a pig
I am stuffed to the gills
Finish your plate there are starving children in Africa my mom would say
Beans, beans, good for your heart, the more you eat the more you fart, the more you fart the better you feel. So eat your beans at every meal. LOL

Who is your grandmother, Anita Bryant?

Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we diet.

Eat what you can, and what you can't eat, you can.

Eat every bean and pea on your plate. (That was my Grandpa's favorite)

You can't have your cake and eat it too, this one always bugged me. Argh!

The rest of these sayings did not necessarily come from my parents or grandparent's but from my youth:

slow as molasses
that's the way the cookie crumbles
a watched pot never boils
a piece of cake
Life's a bowl of cherries
don't count your chicken before they hatch

ha, there are plenty more I'm sure
