I think the captions reveal a slice of real life and are not judgemental at all.
I was pretty shocked by the rattlesnake.

My kitchen is small and the wall is angled so I can't get the freezer in the photo lol. It's emptier than the fridge, mostly ice cream and frozen veggies.

Oh and this is for two girls, both students.

Notice the people who were divorced after having been married for 33 years fridges looked nearly alike?

Here is my fridge for 2 people.

I did not take a picture of the freezer, it's on the bottom.

I have always kept onions in the fridge and I know many people who do.

That 2nd photo...just wow. I get that he doesn't cook and therefore eats out all the time, but maybe he just give up on the notion of eating leftovers as clearly he doesn't bother.

Also, the short order cook with the snake in the freezer... I want to come over to her house.

Oh no, no. Onions and potatoes do not belong in the fridge. It changes the flavor and the texture. And why bother? With proper storage they last for weeks.

Right. Onions get soft when stored in the refrigerator, they stay nice and crisp when stored in a dark place. And if you store potatoes in the refrigerator their starches turn into sugar, and this causes them to darken a little when cooked. And it also makes them taste a little sweeter.

You also shouldn't store potatoes and onions together, they each give off gasses that make them spoil quicker. This is according to the Potato Board.
