Spam. It is in a can. It comes out as a chunk of pink grossness. Even the smell is noxious. Who buys this? Who eats it?
Agreed, and I'll throw in Vienna sausages too. I feel the same way about most deli meats, especially bologna.
Any mock 'meat' - you meatless wonder producers are not fooling anyone. Some vegan foods are more processed than Velveeta. I'll pass on 'texturized soy protein' - if it doesn't occur in nature it wasn't intended for us to eat.
Polenta!!!!!
Looks like baby vomit. if I have to add tons of stuff to it to give it a taste, what's the point?
Lox!!!!
I won't even touch it.. Cook it then I will eat it.
Jello!!!!
Why is this even in existence? Rainbow colored slime on a spoon.
Marshmallows, Molasses and treacle, most overly sweet things, most deep fried foods, fake cheese, fake meat, processed foods.... White "chocolate", cheap "chocolate", Star-Fruit, Kiwi Fruit, Chinese Gooseberries, Iceberg Lettuce.. Canned fruits... "Glace Cherries"... ( and I adore fresh fruits). These are top of my list. Can and will eat all of them if I must but I would most certainly not choose to.
Unlike the OP though I think a good risotto can be a thing of beauty ! I just had a smoked Haddock risotto with poached egg on top a couple of days ago at an Italian restaurant which was divine. A little white wine for the stock, perfectly cooked rice, very moreish ! Too runny and it's horrid and too dry and it becomes a tasteless heavy clump of strach though, the balance is a very difficult one to achieve which is why I am terrified to attempt it at Home ! It has to be just right, moist and yet have body.

So funny. As a kid, when we had polenta I ran for the hills, would not touch it. I had it in Brazil and it was okay, but polenta is polenta.
