I went this afternoon, and I got:

A hand of ginger
honey
apples for us and for FIL
grapes for FIL
2 orange bell peppers
1 red bell pepper
2 liter diet Coke
tomatoes

Going tomorrow to get broccoli & cabbage for stir fry. We have a very small fridge, so no room for storing much produce. I go every day or two for fresh foods.

I just got back from picking up a few things, here's what I bought:
bananas
limes
cilantro
zucchini
I won't need much for a while because they kept warning of how bad the snow was going to be earlier this week, so I had stocked up. Since the snow decided to basically go around OKC, I'm well stocked.

Holy moly! You're either feeding the whole neighborhood, expecting a month-long storm, or the prices were THAT good. I only hope that you had help carrying all that to your car.

Today -

Ground Beef
Ricotta Cheese
Mozzarella
Half dozen eggs
Half dozen bagels
Carrots
Potatoes
Mushrooms
Onions
Box of Cereal
Bag of Breadsticks

Planning on Beef Stew and Lasagna. The ground beef is more than enough so that will get portioned and frozen. The meat for the stew is in the freezer - left from a previous "good buy".

Lets see, I'm making corn beef and cabbage.
Baked chicken.
Beef and broccoli with brown rice.
Baked turkey legs.
Mahi Mahi in salsa.
Baked salmon in wine.
Fruits: Apples, pears, oranges, bananas, dates and prunes.
Veggies: Corn, carrots, sweet potatoes, Idaho potatoes, kale, spinach, mushrooms, green pepper.
Olive oil.
And dog food for the best dog in the world. Oh and a midnight milky way for the best dog mommy in the world.
Damn, now I have to cook all this stuff. I hate cooking.
