I love this veggie. Just sprinkled some EVOO, S&P and maybe some cheddar cheese and bake. Can't beat it. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. I only buy it on sale.

Cauliflower is expensive, I agree. I'd eat it more often if it weren't.

I like it roasted, also mashed into mock mashed potatoes -- a little butter and/or sour cream or cream cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper, topped with minced chives or green onions.

Oh the mighty cauliflower! I love this vegetable probably more than any other.

I recently discovered how to make a low calorie pizza dough out of cauliflower and it was superb! It really helps when recipes like this are available to person's who must be on certain diets. Here's a link to that recipe:
Low-Calorie Cauliflower Crust Pizza: Gluten Free, Paleo and 5:2 Diet Pizza Recipe

I also like to include cauliflower in my garlic mashed potatoes. It provides a surprisingly great taste. Raw cauliflower is always available around our house. I like to dip it in red pepper hummus - it's great that way!

Thanks for posting this information nomad!

Cauliflower is the same price as broccoli here in California much of the year.

Yum with homemade cheese sauce.

Pan roasted with brussel sprouts, onions, garlic and bacon.

The same here price-wise.

I find the cauliflower flavor milder than broccoli. I prefer broccoli and it is a staple in my garden. Maybe next year, I will try a few cauliflower plants and see how they fare.
