I couldn't pass up the Pumpkin O's at Trader Joe's this morning. They taste good with almond milk.

Sounds much like the feast we'll be having, but we don't do pumpkin pie. Nobody likes it.
There will also be a lot of Greek food...spanakopita, moussaka, pastitsio, etc.

Yesterday I made butternut squash soup. The day before, I had a chicken pot pie.

I'm looking forward to soups and pies and especially looking forward to the first cold and crisp fall day when we can go to a farm and get hot cider and freshly made donuts.

Oh, thanks for reminding me that there's still one fattening blueberry turnover somewhere in this house. Where did hubby hide it? If I ask him, maybe he'll split it with me.

I was supposed to go to Lanaudiere to pick apples and go horseback riding, but ended up in the hospital, instead.
Crap.
