A version of Moors and Christians. Black beans, black eyed peas, brown rice. Equally, I may make myself a salad.

But if I can't have that, then it will probably be cooked up brisket.

Hmmm....this can vary. I suppose my old standby is rice or noodles with tuna, butter, garlic and red pepper liberally shook in. Quick and tasty and being filling is a plus.

There are a couple: one that comes to mind: we almost always have left over spaghetti in the freezer or soup. I take something like that out, micro it and make small salad. The other thing, just a big ole sandwich and chips if we have any.

Most of these were too much work for me when I'm lazy.

For me...leftovers, pure and simple.
I always have them...with a little cheese on the side, maybe.

I was thinking, if I am really lazy, TAKEOUT/DELIVERY.

I actually cook just enough for one meal and maybe one leftover lunch for hubby to take. Otherwise leftovers never get eaten in my house for various reasons.

Pasta with something from ham/cream to pecans/peppers/onion. Otherwise - let's see what the freezer offers.

Rice in rice cooker. Frozen veggies steamed in microwave. Combine the two, toss with soy sauce and seasoning of choice.
