How bout feeding it to them before they can talk. My kids grew up each just about every vegetable and fruit know to mankind. A few that I dont even like. Not to mention oysters, liver, wild game, sweet breads and other animal innards that many adults won't touch.

Sweet.. love his project.

I'd also add.. process fruits into blender and make home-made popsicles.. Kids love popsicles.

Nice project.

I've never had trouble getting my kids to eat fruit, artfully arranged or otherwise.

I have to say that I never understood having to persuade a child to eat anything. Where I come from you ate what you were told or you didn't eat at all.

And why don't more parents introduce fresh fruits and veggies at the earliest stages? Edit: Bulldogdad beat me to it.

Everyone has preferences. Kids will sometimes test boundaries. If the kids weren't eating fruit, I think it is mainly because the parents haven't introduced it properly. My opinion is that kids tend not to like the same foods their parents tend not to like. Parents will sometimes limit the kids to some type of kiddie menu instead of feeding them what the adults are eating and then wonder why the kids won't try or eat other food.

I introduced my kids to a variety of foods from the very beginning. I love fruits and veggies so my kids got a variety of those. Each child has preferences for what they like and don't. Overall, they are willing to eat a wide variety of foods. I'm willing to try new things and I've been able to pass that willingness to try new things on to my kids. They are willing to try new things. Wish I could say the same for most of their friends.

Starve them long enough and they'll eat anything. I'm kidding.

I've never met a child who didn't like fruit. It's sweet. They might not like every fruit, but they'll like one type or another.

Bulldogdad beat me to it, too.
