Up at 5 am making Italian gravy with braciole, meatballs and sausage. Serving with spaghetti and salad. Warm Italian bread with olive oil for dipping, and a nice red wine. Italian cookies for dessert.

Thank you - I had no idea what to make yesterday - I made the same - minus the fresh green beans and it was a hit with DH - daugher doesn't like peppers, onions, tomatoes so she had baked potato with the chicken.

Daughter and I are going to Texas Roadhouse - tonight - 10% of our bill will be donated to the Wildland Firefighters Foundation. My prayers for safety go out for all wildland firefighters - and my prayers are with the families of the most recent 2 USFS firefighters that has died in the last 2 weeks.

I had made a big pot of chili and that with garlic bread,yogurt and lassi or water.For dessert we are trying to finish our mangoes

Yes, God bless the firefighters. We've had 100,000 acres burnt in the hills. And thank God for this thread , which reminds me to do something about dinner. Tonight, frozen butterflied shrimp from Costco and butter lettuce salad.
