It's cloudy and rainy here today. It's 64. I'm making a big pot of beef barley soup, warm rolls and a Dutch Apple pie for dinner.

Whatever we have i will get it ready before the Razonback game starts, which I think is either 6 or 6:30. I know we are having a small pork roast and I just picked enough beans for dinner tonight, that is the end this year. I will probably fix a salad: got some produce at the farmers market today and have a lot of stuff in the fridge that I want to fix before it gets any older. I might mash a potato for us or maybe just have another veggie. I know spoiled brat would love me to make waldorf salad. I think that will come tomorrow night.

Boneless ribeyes on the grill (the bone in selection was awful), baked potatoes on the grill, sautéed mushrooms and onions, mixed vegetables in a cheese sauce (it's one of the Green Giant boxes - but I LOVE them) and rolls. Husband just started the charcoal so he can throw the potatoes on. Dog is quite curious as to what's going on - and I think he knows he's getting steak for dinner too!
