Couple of Angus and 1 veal burger on the grill with some sharp cheese on top.

Some fresh crown brocoli sliced and steamed. One diced cooked potato added and smothered in cheese, freshly made bacon bits and under the broiler for a few minutes.

I made obscenely good, and obscenely non-healthy "melt-in-your-mouth" (if you fix this, you know why it's unhealthy, but so good!) chicken breasts, fresh sauteed green beans with slivered almonds, corn, crusty rolls with butter, and home-made chocolate chip and pecan cookies for dessert; Pomegranate wine from North Carolina's own Hinnant winery to wash it all down.

Blew my diet right out of the water, but heh, it's a holiday weekend.
