i gave up on soda years ago due to HFCS. just the other day i noticed a case of Coca Cola at Sams Club. It was the nice 80s style bottle that caught my attention then i noticed that they are imported from Mexico and made with real sugar. i found that they taste just like the coca cola i remember from the early 80s. less sweet than the hfcs counterpart.

i now buy a case every few weeks. $18.99 for 24 bottles.

anyone else addicted to this stuff?

^Someone on another thread mentioned that they were drinking a Mexican coke. I immediately thought it was coke with hot chili peppers in it and that sounded pretty gross, but the poster explained that it's made with real sugar and tastes much better.

I don't drink a lot of soda, but I would buy that and try it as a treat. I just haven't looked to find out where in my area I can get it.

Fresh Market carries it in my area, not sure if they all do.

you should be able to find single glass bottles at walmart. check the international isle that carries mexican foods. its a bit pricier than buying bulk, but not too bad. i think like 1.39 a bottle.

Yes, very good stuff! Tastes far better than the high fructose corn syrup flavored crap they sell to us in the USA.

I think SXM drinks Mexican Coke all the time and I have not tasted it but I do not drink coke and never have.
I also do not drink dark pop and when I do drink pop which is not often it is white pop.

You can get the same thing with Pepsi if you purchase the "Throwback" Pepsi

I don't drink soft drinks, but my husband prefers the Mexican Coca-Cola, which is readily available in SoCal. He thinks it tastes better and is (minimally) better for you than the HFCS kind.
