My husband always takes baked goods to work to share. A lot of his coworkers will bring donuts or a bunch of breakfast tacos, so he brings the baked goods to return the favor. I don't mind baking extra so he can do that. It's funny, though, when he takes leftovers for his lunch, his coworkers always want to try them, especially the homemade pizza, but he never shares his leftovers.
I bake a lot with the expectation that hubby will take most of the goodies into work to share. I also take cookies over to new neighbors when they move in.
My wife doesn't bake much, except for breads and biscuits. She loves to make those small round 'hearth' loaves of whole grain breads. One of those loaves will last us almost a week (we don't eat a lot of bread). But relatives and neighbors LOVE it! She prepares a dozen loaves at a time, and I pop them into my outdoor wood-fired oven, and we freeze all but one.
But now, we freeze all but 4 - one for us, and 3 for our neighbors! Good stuff!
I always share my fresh tomatoes with my neighbors and for a couple of years I would give them seeds and show them how to grow tomatoes . They were so grateful .
Do you share your home made food or baked goods with neighbors, co-workers, friends, others for no reason? For helping you out? Because they shared produce out of their garden with you? You get the idea......
I come from a family for whom feeding people was one of the ways you showed your love for them. So yes. And always with the very best of ingredients.
We had neighbors down the block and one winter he got a new snowblower and got out and cleared everyone's sidewalk before DH got out to do it. Since we were snowed in I decided to bake some caramel rolls and take some down to them.
After that, all we had to do was get a few snowflakes and there he'd be running down our sidewalk with the snowblower. And I'd bake caramel rolls. It got to be a standing joke.

Yes.
When I BBQ, everybody eats.
