Yeah, I go in spurts where I will eat something every day for a while and then not touch it again for months, or years. Most recently, cheese toast (mix parmesan in butter, spread on Texas Toast and fry it on that side until it gets nice and brown), spinach salad with sauteed mushrooms and warmed Italian/parmesan dressing, and, the one I just got tired of, Tempura. Tempura'd anything, dipped in Tempura sauce.
Muesli. I'll get sick on it for two weeks, and then not touch it for a year or so. The cycles seem to be quite consistent as well, they correlate with early spring lol
I tend to change up main meals alot, snacks are a different story..
I was on a brie and cracker binge for a year and now haven't been thought of it in almost a year..
Right now it's peanut butter on premium crackers...
In a few months I may switch back to popcorn with alot of butter and salt..
with me many things I eat for a few weeks and get bored of and don't eat again for many months. Ice cream, cereal, twizzlers, crunch and munch, doritos.
I got into a tea thing once and bought 10 different kinds and then stopped drinking them.
I"m not a big icecream person, and can go months without eating it, but sometimes I will be into it for a week or a month.
Same with Twizzlers. I like them and will buy them and eat them for a few days or a week and then just let them go state in the cupboard.
Ice cream bores me too. I am just like you. I can go years without it, yet then eat it for a week. Then I'm bored again. If I do eat ice cream, I like the cone part with it. It's the best part.
I usually eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day, and usually after a few months I get bored and need to switch it up... and then eat something else everyday, over and over.
Other than that, I was veg'n for 26 years, and ever since I started eating animal products again, I cannot stand the thought of eating beans, tofu, or seitan. I loved and them and I lived off of them for so long, but I don't care if I never eat them again.
Not a specific food, but I do get tired of certain recipes. I'll make the same casserole, over and over, but then, I'm over it and don't make it any more.
Donuts- when I'm in the mood, I'll eat a whole bunch. Then I just get sick of them and don't eat them for a few months
Hot Spicy Cheetos- I'll eat an entire bag and will not eat another one for a while afterwards
