Decisions! Decisions! Decisions!

I think we are heading in the direction of fried oysters, hushpuppies, and cole slaw.

Well I had planned on steak, grilled veggies and a salad, but mother nature says she is bringing us more rain. So either we grill using the griddler or we have to think of something else. I might end up doing pork steaks, fruit salad and asparagus.

It's supposed to be in the high 80s low 90s here today. YUCK! I am not a fan of heat, more of a winter lover. It's too hot for indoor cooking so a full grilled dinner tonight. I am grilling jerk chicken, corn on the cob and herbed potato slices.
Happy Thursday!!

We have a little heat as well, but the rain keeps us inside. Dinner sounds good; love tomato and onion salad; in fact I have about 10 lbs of sweet onions I have to use soon.

That reminds me time to make an onion cake again and serve it with young white wine usually done in September.( that is the only time I eat bacon in this recipe)

I make onion pie, too, Almrausch! Had forgotten about it. It was from an old church cookbook donated by a woman who lived across the street from us when I was a little girl. Yum. Will have to revisit that recipe.

Tonight - sandwiches. I made an ambrosia salad from fresh pineapple, tangerines and green grapes. Potato salad, cole slaw and roasted cauliflower/broccoli are in bowls in the fridge. There's half a watermelon and when I get done swimming today I'm going to make a rhubarb balsamic cake.

So there will be plenty to graze from.
