Rainy day here. A simple dinner of tuna on croissants. I'll either make a small salad to go with or maybe just chips. Depends on my mood later!

Probably something nice and basic - jacket potatoes, baked beans, grated cheese and perhaps a dash of Worcester Sauce

A beautiful good morning to everyone here in the cooking room

For tonight I am making red kidney bean soup ( daal) with coriander chapatis,homemade plain yogurt,lime pickles,a platter with cucumber and onion slices and lassi to drink. For dessert honeydew melon.

Chicken thighs are marinating in hot hot, romaine with red onion and crisp apple slices, rice a roni (SO's thing with orzo and basmati) or focaccia out of the freezer (takes minutes to defrost then a short oven time). Peaches and ice cream.

I forgot ice cream last night and was sent back to the kitchen with crepes and peaches:>)

DH has requested beef stew tonight, so that's what we're having. I'm thinking of making a parfait for dessert.
