I want that.

Had to use up leftover chicken so I made chicken ala king with carrots and peas, served over rice.

I keep seeing all these slow cooker meals on here and I guess it really is time to transition into cool weather cooking.

Here it is: another Friday and the wonderful fall is in the air. I am just getting ready to start a big pot of sauce. We are having spaghetti, meat balls and sausage plus a huge green salad. The fridge is filled with wonderful fresh produce I picked up yesterday.

Even though it feels like fall I think I will make a summer type supper. I am grilling up some swordfish and serving it with a mango salsa. The corn looked wonderful at the farmstand yesterday so I bought a lot. I will cook up some of it tonight.

Tonight we're having lamb burgers with a cream cheese & feta spread, a Mediterranean quinoa salad, and hot & smokey baked beans. Maybe falafel as well.
