Chicken fried chicken, buttered noodles and either a fresh fruit salad with a brandy cream dressing or cold slaw. If I do the fruit I will also have a green veggie.
I have 25lbs of apples I need to turn to applesauce and can today so I am short cutting dinner. I pulled out leftover meatballs and red sauce from the freezer. I will serve over linguine. I do plan on making an apple pan dowdy for dessert. Anything to use up those apples!
I'm getting the Mediterranean chicken and the BBQ chicken lite pizzas. I may get either breadsticks or dessert. Next week it's back on Nutrisystem for me. I'll still be cooking for DS. He needs to eat right with all the medication he takes. A mothers job is never done.
