For those that read labels and are concerned about all the crap that is used to preserve food, well I found a cream cheese that has none of that. Arla is the brand and it's from Denmark. It has cream, salt and cheese cultures that's it. It was on sale for $1.99 this week by me. It's a 7 ounce container. Best cream cheese I ever had and worth buying.

I really like Arla's Mediterranean Herb & Vegetable flavor.

My husband was addicted to the blueberry one and of course they don't have it in this area. But it is actually food and really good.

I don't care for American cream cheese, and often wonder why we don't have more love for Farmer cheese quark style. That kind of cheese isn't possible to buy where I live, and I have to make it myself.
Never saw Arla cheese either. The only cream cheese available here is a Philadelphia brand, which I find rubbery and tasteless.

This brand is not rubbery at all. You can go online to the Arla website. The cheese is made in Denmark. It's so creamy and real tasting.

Correct!
However, the absence of emulsifiers and other artificial ingredients in this product can result in some minor separation. Simply stir it a bit in order to re-incorporate the excess liquid, and you will be left with an incredibly tasteful and creamy cheese spread that is 100% devoid of artificial ingredients.

You can go to their site and do a store location search.

In my area it is carried ny Costco and Safeway. I am looking into this product, for sure.

What I don’t like about Philly cream cheese is the saltiness. I like to make pimiento cheese using cream cheese and yellow cheese. (And roasted red peppers.)

Philly has changed their ingredients recently so they have less junk added to it. It has pasteurized milk and cream, salt, carob bean gum, cheese culture. It has 110 mg of sodium compared to 95 mg in a serving of Arla cream cheese.

I was just happy when they changed Philly and it didn't have xanthan gum anymore.
