A g/f is coming to visit & I want to have a silly tea party. The tea will be chilled herbal, so it is not a traditional event, just something to show my appreciation for her kindness to us during our recent ordeal. I am trying to think of some some fun finger foods. so far I have come up with asparagus wrapped in roast beef slices, reuben style tortilla wraps, deviled eggs. Plus I have some frozen mini quesadillas I can heat up. Any ideas will be welcome

I think it will be more of an assortment of appetizers instead of a regular meal.

Nancy Mini Quiches are frozen small quichelets in three flavors. You just heat them up in the oven or microwave. They even taste good, and they’re cute. Check in your supermarket’s frozen-food aisles.

If you want to make something yourself, how about buying some wonton skins (refrigerated squares of wonton sheets) and pinching in some seasoned meat mixture to make your own wontons? You don’t have to serve them in soup, just quickly boil and drain them.

How fun and nice. Crustless mini egg muffins or mini quiches, spinach balls, pimiento cheese, mini caprese salads (bites) on a toothpick, chicken salad, egg salad, cucumber salad and assorted crackers or pita chips, etc. and I could go all day for tea cookies and shortbreads. Let us know what you go with! Enjoy!

Small cupcakes would be pretty for dessert.

I love appetizers over a meal....more fun, relaxed.

scones give a nod to high tea, easy to make or buy a mix.

I think salad on a skewer is cute. I have done it before. You can do small on a food pick or large on a skewer. There are tons of suggestions/recipes out there. I will leave this here just because I find food on a stick fun!
