Well, at least now we have conclusive proof that garlic does not grown on vines! By the way, tulip and daffodil bulbs are sent to me in clean shape. I never thought of this till now.

I've grown onions, garlic, and bulbs, and they come out of the ground dirty.

sometimes, we buy garlic at the farmers stand, it is very dirty but delicious.

Anyway, it's clean dirt, you don't have to worry about it, just wash it off.
