It’s cheap and delicious if you are drunk! Perfect for poor college students.

That sounds like a college thing to do. I could totally see that in a movie set at a college.

I can almost sympathize. I like Taco Bell.

It sounds like the tongue-in-cheek nature of this is completely lost on people based on the comments.

It's college kids being jokesters, folks. Calm down.

Taco Bell is just OK. The best Mex (really "Tex-Mex") fast food place is Taco Bueno but they're only located in Texas with a few stores in neighboring states.

I'm not familiar with Taco Bueno, but I looked at their website https://www.tacobueno.com/food/ and it sure as hell looks just like Taco Bell.

Not to say I'm down on it, looks delicious Taco Bell is one of my favorite Mexican fast food joints and I suspect I'd love Bueno as well. Bonus points for the silly "street tacos" thing they are pushing like so many others.

I used to like Dell Taco in Arizona, they have a bit quirkier a menu than Taco Bell but still same basic deal Mexican fast food with bright orange cheese.

It's the quality and taste that sets Taco Bueno apart. Look at their gorgeous combination platters.

They've started to franchise. Anyone out there interested?

That is your usual food porn. It looks great in the ads ... But when you get to the store, you get something totally slopped together. About the only place where the food looks as advertised is at IN N OUT BURGER.

I guess anything is possible but I'm having trouble believing the quality of that shredded orange cheese, hard compressed taco shell, lettuce, tomato, and Mexican style spiced hamburger makes it taste that much better than similar products from other taco chains.

I'll try it if ever in TX!

I love Taco Bell. Nobody can beat them in terms of calories per dollar. Plus, their food is flavorful and seems fresh.

Authentic Mexican restaurants / taquerias are in a different category though. It's not fair to compare them.

Taco Bell is American fast food pure and simple, with its menu being Mexican-inspired. That's all.
