They used to be a lot better, didn't they?

I have no idea what happened to Wendy's fries, but one day I ordered them and they were definitely different and not good at all. Even dipping them in my frosty is not enough to make them tasty. I just stopped ordering them and opt for the chili instead.

The fries actually have the potato skin on the edges, so you would think that they should taste even better than before, or more like real potatoes.

Wendy changed their fries over 10 years ago.

I don't care for their fries. I've only been to Wendy's a handful of times. I dont think I ever had their old fries, so I can't really compare the 2.

I know they changed them before. But they may have changed them again.

Their original fries were nothing to write home about. But all the fast food fries used to be a lot better.

I like the current Wendy's fries.

KFC's new ones are great too.

Usually it's the oil used. Possibly changed distributor brand.

The fries they have now are fried with thick leathery skin on, especially on the ends. I read somewhere that they changed them to make them seem more "natural".

We stopped ordering fries because of whatever they did. They are leathery and chewy.
