I made a pot of vegetable beef soup. Chunks of sirloin, diced potatoes and carrots, peas, canned diced tomatoes and V8 juice with assorted seasonings. A cold weather go to.

I have a 3 lb Angus London Broil marinating in a smoky spicy ribs sauce (it was a gift and I needed a marinade). I will grill it outside in a couple of hours --- cook it medium rare and sliced very thin -- and just make a bunch of fresh broccoli to go with it. I will have leftovers for a week. Having a tangerine and a cup of herbal tea for dessert.
I came back from a 2 week vacation having gained 5 lbs so trying to hold the line here. ; (
