@ 70Ford - Sriracha? - The other day I was at Costco and they had mango sriracha chicken wings. I like mango but was hesitant to get it that day because I was unsure what the sriracha flavor entailed. Too bad that wasn't the one that they were doing taste testings of. Maybe next time they might or I'll be more daring.

Banana Ketchup can be found in Asian store that carries SEAsian foods...
They are hard to find I must say.
Sweeter than normal Ketchup... thicker & more full flavoured.
I love sriracha and buy the Hoy Fong Foods, Inc brand at Walmart. I use it in everything. Even in my famous Gumbo which I'm making for dinner tonight.
Some Other ingredients I use that might be uncommon:
Sesame oil
Five spice
Fish sauce
Lime juice in lots of recipes (and even in water with sugar for lime water to drink on a hot day)
Caraway seeds
Beef soup base (use it in canned green beans plus bacon bits and onions makes canned beans like fresh grean beans)
Poultry soup base/Poultry Seasoning (use in chicken & noodles to add flavor)
Cilantro
Spanish paprika
Hungarian paprika
Smoked paprika
Saffron (costly!)
Annato seeds
Mace
Curry
Jamacian Jerk spice
Rice wine

Siracha is an extremely hot and spicy sauce similar to hot sauce. I have tried it and it's too spicy for me. But some others on here who like their food hot and spicy may not think it's too spicy because they are used to it. 1 drop I tried and my mouth was on fire.
Wtf is banana ketchup? I love bananas but hate ketchup...or is it something completely different?
