I take them out of the flammable paper dish and put them on foil on the toaster oven's tray. Sometimes foil on top to prevent scorching. Probably not necessary because I open the oven about half way through and cut the pie in quarters and smash the contents flat. Cooks more thoroughly. A little too dry for some, no doubt. But I like it that way.

I used to buy them occasionally to have in the freezer -- they were good. I recall about a year ago being able to find them on sale for $2 each. Anyone know the price these days and has the quality gone downhill at all? I liked the chicken or turkey pot pies the best -- I thought the quality was high and good crust.

Most Marie Callender stuff is good. I would love to get their pie crust recipe, the one they use in their restaurants pies. It is so tender and delicious. I've tried to duplicate it and can't get close.

LOL, I just bought some Marie Callender pies, chicken and beef.

I not realize there is milk listed in the ingredients. I am lactose intolerant

But is this actually milk, or milk product like butter, cream, or cheese? I can ate all three of those just not regular milk.
