If you cut them up, then sprinkle a good amount of sugar on them and leave them in the fridge overnight, they create their own syrup... great for topping sponge cake with whipped cream added!!

Or you can use the syrup to make strawberry lemonade! Goes great with a grilled burger.

One of my favourite summer strawberry dishes is Eton Mess named after the prestigious Eton school near Windsor. Delicious really chilled.

Strawberry Mousse (my children favourite pudding)

1lb Strawberries
1 envelope of strawberry jelly mix
1 cup hot water
3/4 cup of evaporated milk
1/3 cup of sugar

Dilute the jelly mix in the hot water and let it cool a bit then blend with all the other ingredients and refrigerate for at least 5 hours.

You can use more strawberries to decorate it before serving!!!!
