The Mrs told me she has some little paper cups of about 3 OZ each that we can use to make some Tang popsicles with. Got to try it. Tang has got some nutrition more than store bought ones I hope and I need a cool treat for this hot August weather that will cool me off a bit in the afternoons.

i see a bunch of you guys are talking about tangcicles... all the years i've been drinking it and never thought of that but i'm definately going to have to try it.....
Well I'm happy to report that somehow I came home with not one but 2 containers of Tang. I put one in the cart and didn't see the one the Mrs. had already picked up. Guess this maybe a lucky day yet. Now to go and do some edits of the photos in the swamp that I just took.

Oh no... No popcicle sticks in the house. Now to do some serious improvising... I think maybe I'll have to resort to using a plastic fork?? Maybe I could whittle a few down out of a palm frond.. I'm having a Tangacicle fit at the moment.
Actually, there seems to be two formulations of Tang, the newest introduced in 2007 that incorporates Sucralose for half the sugar (not good for those of us who react badly to it).
Here is the product info for the new formulation with 'Fruitrition' (aka Sucralose):
Does anyone care for the "new" flavor of Tang? It used to be so good until they changed something around. It is way too strong now and the flavor seemed to have changed. I grew up on the stuff and I miss the old flavor. Now I'm hooked on sugar free Kool Ade.
I do not like the new flavor, but I have discovered that in many instances the "store brand" that is right next to it on the shelf tastes like the old Tang. It's great stuff but I'm sure it is not good for you. LOL All that sugar! Better to buy some real fruit juice, which is what I do now.
I do get the hankerin' for it from time to time from my childhood. Pixie Stix too! LOL
As I sit here in my cyber confines I'm enjoying a large glass of the "New Tang". The reduce calorie kind I guess. It does seem to be a little different or it could just be the seed that has been planted in my mind. It must have been 30-35 years since I've had Tang. Never the less, it is good to me and that is all that counts at the moment. If I find the original formula I'll try that to. I'm stopping with the one glass to see if I have any reactions but none suspected as Sucralose has never been troublesome before.
