This is how I made it.
1/4 pkg of cream cheese(2oz)
1/4 Cup Sour cream
1TBS mayo
1TBS soft butter
minced onion and bell pepper, about 3TBS each
seasoned salt
paprika
1/4bup Mozzarella cheese
1 can (6oz)crab meat
Mix everything together, adding mozzarella and crab last
Bake in 350 oven for about 10 minutes or until bubbly.

You can add cayenne pepper or hot sauce if you want a little kick.

Okay, I'll fess up. The second apple pie I baked did not turn out good. We were so full after dinner, so I just tried a slice now. I don't know what I did, but the bottom crust was soggy and apples were too tart. I think I needed more sugar and flour mixed with the apples. Good thing I have other pies...

I like tart apples in my pie, but I'm probably in the minority.

I forgot to serve the spiced peaches! I was just now looking in the 'fridge and saw them sitting in there--oops. We had plenty of other food though.

We made two turkeys, one on the rotisserie, and it got so well-done that we were really concerned--but it tasted wonderful--crispy on the outside, fragrant, meaty and moist underneath.

I've heard that too but I use to get my eggs out of the nest in our chicken coups and never had this problem so I'm not sure about the "fresh" thing. But whatever the problem was it was with those eggs I bought. I did the second batch with the different eggs, cooked the same exact way and no problem. Weird!!

Good one lacey--ugly eggs make a good egg salad!!

As I have said on the other thread, "what's in your fridge", my spices, as food in the fridge and freezers are in alphabetical order. Yesterday I was in the middle of making the chicken tortellini soup for T'giving dinner when our daughter called to ask me some questions about her turkey. While explaining to her I reached up to the spices (because I know where each one is w/o looking up) grabbed the cinnamon instead of nutmeg and dumped a whole bunch of cinnamon before realizing that I grabbed the wrong one. While cleaning the kitchen last week my dh put the cinnamon to the right of the nutmeg. Out of alphabetical order. I had to dump the whole pot out and start over. This is why I don't let anyone in the kitchen.

Ok--laughing! That is so funny! How amazing that you actually keep everything in alphabetical order in your kitchen--There actually is name for people who do that sort of thing.. Obsessive compulsive-- but I personally would love to be that organized. I have been told I am obsessive compulsive too but hey, you are better at it then I. Nothing wrong with it in my book. I think the people who find anything wrong with that are the ones who are jealous! I could use you to help organize my spices! To bad your DH put the woring spice in the wrong place...live and learn! I did have to laugh Kelsie....just reminded me of something that could easily happen in my house!! Thanks for the share........
