I don't eat at Wendy's regularly but when I do, I know what I usually want.

The chili is okay but if it isn't "fresh" it can lead to a need for private... space...

I do love the hot oil & it's always a chore to make sure the window person puts it in the bag... So we don't throw away the extras, just in case. I've used the hot oil for other things at home, too.

I enjoy the burgers with my own cheddar cheese: really great.

I also enjoy getting a salad at dinner time but saving it for work the next day. The salads are usually ultra fresh & always last to the next day & it seems a fair price for convenience. Their salads always cost less than what the little diners have around where I work and much fresher.

How about you guys? What are your favorites? Are there things you do with the menu items that are your little "tricks" for extra flavor or interest?

Kate

I always get two junior cheeseburgers with mustard only.
Sometimes I get fries. I prefer the fries at McDonald's but every now and then I'll "settle" for the fries at Wendy's.

I like the chili but the Wendy's here in town doesn't have the hot sauce and it just isn't the same without it.

Love the chili and the fries are good when they actually cook them all the way through. The burgers though are way too greasy for my taste.
