The water in my region tastes terrible so I have always filtered my tap water for drinking water. Used to use Brita's water pitcher filters and they were okay. But a couple of months ago, I switched to the "on the faucet" PUR system. And already it has cracks and leaks. Anyone else have this problem with PUR? If I replace it (have a big supply of filter cartridges for it), is there some way to prevent the cracks and leaks?

I used to do the pitcher filter thing. I found the Aquasana system much better and more economical .

I had not heard of Aquasana.--Just googled it and a picture of a faucet filter system looks quite different from the Pur system.

Any problems with cracks or leaks?
