As a single person living alone, I have a really hard time trying to figure out what to make for dinner on an ongoing basis. I have been hearing alot about this E-Mealz service on the radio and was wondering if anyone here has tried it and if its good. I saw that its a subscription-based service, but I would like to try to find a way to plan for meals without having to go to the store without a clue as to what I want to eat.

I generally stay away from pre-processed foods as they are quite unhealthy in terms in excessive sodium and chloresterol.

If there is a better way to plan meals, I am definitely all-ears.

When you have a free afternoon, sit down and write all the things you particularly like (along with some things that are good for you!). Make out your weekly menu (and leave some times that you don't have to cook so you can go out or do carry out). I did a quick search and found this site that looks interesting:

How To Plan and Prepare Meals for One: Creating an Easy Weekly Menu

and this one:

Simple Meal Planning and Cooking for Singles - Associated Content

If you have dietary or health issues, please consider those special diets in your meal planning.

There is a thread in this forum, not too far back, about cooking for one.
