Look at #10... 1700mg of sodium in a milk shake?

"Why?" he asked incredulously.

Rule #1 of keeping your caloric intake in check: Don't drink your calories.

Not that diet pop is healthy, either.

The article, though, is more about drinks like shakes, that most of us would consider "treats," not everyday drinks. And the article doesn't mention juices, like apple juice, which may be natural and unsweetened, but still have a lot of calories per ounce and little nutritional value.

Same here. I was kind of afraid to look lol but thankfully nothing on that list has any appeal to me.

Still, I am sure my diet mountain dew is not exactly the healthiest thing I could be drinking but it's just so darn good.

I thought this was pretty bad:

Cold Stone Creamery "Gotta Have It" PB&C Shake

  • 2,010 calories
  • 131 g fat (68 g saturated)
  • 153 g sugars
But this one is even worse! As much fat as a stick and a half of butter? More calories than 48 oreos??????? OMG! And as much sodium as 9 bags of lays?

Baskin-Robbins Large Chocolate Oreo Shake
  • 2,600 calories
  • 135 g fat (59 g saturated fat, 2.5 g trans fat)
  • 263 g sugars
  • 1,700 mg sodium
This drink packs more sugar than 29 Fudgsicles, as much fat as a stick and a half of butter, more calories than 48 actual Oreos, three days’ worth of saturated fat, and as much salt as you’ll find in 9 bags of Lay’s Classic potato chips.

I bought the Snapple anti-oxidant water, on the list.
Didn't read the label until I got home, 32 grams of sugar, 32 grams of carbs! It was good though.
