Hi ya'll!!

So one of the dishes I am making is deviled eggs. However, since the whole fam is here this Christmas, my MIL will also be cooking.. so in order to minimize us being in each others way, I am making some stuff in advance

I normally make my deviled eggs 1 day ahead and fill them the day off. Do ya'll think it will be ok to make everything today (2 days ahead) ?

Only problem I'd have with that would be to keep from eating them......

all joking aside probably wont have that same fresh taste or appearance.

Yum, I could go for a deviled egg I'm not sure about making them in advance because sometimes the whites emit moisture. If anything I would make them one day in advance of serving.

Happy Holidays!!

I would say it's probably the safest thing to "pre-make" other than maybe the rolls or the pies. Some people like those hot though, so that's questionable too. If you do this, I'd recommend keeping the eggs whole, and doing the halving and mixing the day you serve them.

I boil my eggs up to a couple days in advance. I keep them in the shell like TKramar suggested. On the day of the event, I peel them and fill them.

I use this technique to hard boil them.

I like deviled egg sandwiches.

Mash up the entire hard boiled egg with minced/chopped sweet pickles, mayo,
and a dash of Lowry's salt. Put a little mustard on the bread.

Yummm

Try using a bit of curry powder when deviling the eggs, it gives them a nice exotic bite.
