I'd like to hear any experiences with cooking on salt plates.

I didn't know what they were, but the local ding and dent has them for a cheap price. I had to look them up.

If you cook on them, does it make the food too salty? How about getting grease off of them, like after cooking a steak on them?

I don't think this is going to work for most home cooks. The temperature required by those commercial ovens as quoted by the chef is 280-320 degrees. I'm sure that's Celsius. Converted to Fahrenheit, your oven would have to heat to 536 to 608 degrees, (I believe it's Celsius because the phone number for the company at the end of the video begins with 44, the country code for England.).
