I appreciate what you're saying but I only see the one, not many others, on this topic.......and FYI there was no poll.
FYI my intent of this and similar threads was to get a snapshot of what is or isn't most popular, which is hard to do with just replies and far easier/more efficient with polls. Further, many people who don't feel like posting a reply may just answer the poll. Plus people just like polls.
Great Poll! I love it!. I frequently put Manuka Honey in my coffee with the cream instead of sugar. No different than people using honey in their tea. If you like it sweet, give a try...it's yummy! I also like the vanilla and hazelnut flavors if I want a dessert coffee.
Has anybody used different kinds of coffee syrup (I mean vanilla, mint, hazelnut flavoring)?
How was it? I occasionally buy flavored coffee or flavored non-dairy creamer, but I like the coffee taste itself.
I saw these syrups the other day at the grocery store (thought you could only get them at the coffee shop, excuse my ignorance here) and would like to try one.
Is anybody familiar with them? I have heard it depends on the brand and flavor, would you suggest anything?
Miaiam (did you make your name an onamonapea?) We use the syrups at our coffee shop. They are good quality and flavor a drink nicely. We sell a decent amount of bottles of it. We were a bit ticked that Walmart sells it now because they can always undersell anyone. Wish they'd leave our "territory" alone. Anyhow, don't be afraid to try it in coffee, smoothies, baking, icecream, tea, etc. Enjoy!
Thanks, cityflair.
I think I am the only person on earth who did not know one could buy these syrups at the grocery store too!
I had tried coffee syrup before at the coffee shop, and they were great, but I thought they were sold directly to stores only.
I would prefer to buy syrup bottles from a small/medium sized coffee shop, though. You probably have better quality ones. And I would go to the coffee shop to have a great espresso as well.
