Fact is, compared to cars of 40-50 years ago, most cars are old people's cars today. Underpowered and not built for fun or to look cool in. No distinctive styling, just boring.[/QUOTE]
And that makes them old people's car because???
What are your views on the early 2000's Crown Victoria's? Many people I spoke to mentioned that they believe Crown Victoria's are old man cars. Do you agree or disagree? This is stereotype on Crowm Victoria's because many people believe that only old people are seen driving them. I think that's silly but that's just me.
Thoughts?
They are absolutely "old man cars"! Seriously, if you're not at least 45 with a family, or a cab driver or a cop, why would you want to be driving a Crown Vic?
If you're not convinced yet, consider this: my Dad when he retired and moved to Florida (back in 1996) sold his Olds Eighty-Eight sedan and bought a brand new Mercury Grand Marquis, which is basically the twin of the Crown Vic. Old people love those big, land yachts!
Crown Victoria was my stepmother's car of choice for a long time (she now drives a new Taurus SHO). She had a huge glittery oval-shaped lavender decal on the Crown Vic's back bumper that read "DIVA."
