I have to say, I have never been much of a ford fan, but I am really diggin' that Bronco.

Hmm they should build the Bronco on a shortend F150 platform tht way they could build a Regular Ecoboost and 5.0L Coyote V-8 full-size Bronco's and have a SVT Rapator versions using F150 parts in ton of different optional trims.

Love the idea of a "retromod" SUV similar to the new generation of pony cars.

Is the midsize truck market really that strong that a new Ranger is warranted? I didn't think the GM versions were doing all that well. Wiki says 114,000 combined total sales in 2015 which is a pretty small market share for Ford to want to after with a competing product. I wonder if this is a move to try and swing the market to meet CAFE standards going forward?

That Bronco looks sweet.

I owned an '83 Bronco with bench seats. If they would do that again, Ill buy one.

I had a 1990, and loved it. Nice to see that a real SUV (truck based) coming back.

I have not searched for info, but if that's going to be a factory push bumper, skid plate, and winch. This thing means business.

You can keep "digging" it all you want, but that's an unofficial rendering (and a rather poor one, at that) - in other words, someone's fantasy.

Am I the only one who thinks that roofline on the Bronco looks a bit low? I'm sure it is just the perspective of the picture, but it almost looks smooshed from the top.

*** edit *** the picture is just a rendering.

From the article, "The 2018 Bronco is seen here in a rendering by Bronco6G.com".

This was the concept design from 12 years ago;

I hope it has changed, this makes me think jeep or land rover. I see the old Mitsubishi raider more than anything that resembles the old Bronco. I hope its just the pic, but that looks midsize to me.

I've been wanting to get back into a "small" truck but I don't do GM products and the Tacoma is too expensive. If the Ranger comes in a 2 door extended cab I might be in.
