Some day you'll be 75 if you're lucky. And we're not.

The last 400 HP Vic (or similar to a Vic) was made in 1970 or so.

Really, the legend of "souped up cop cars" is just that, a legend. These cars sometimes had upgraded radiators, tranny coolers, maybe oil coolers, maybe some suspension work. Like you said the radio does the rest.

I had to try and defend them... I am a 9C1 and LT1-Fleetwood owner. I think I will be keeping my 9C1's silicon hoses forever! P71s and 9C1s do have noticeably different suspension setups than the civilian models, braking systems (at least 9C1's), different gearing and yes... improved cooling systems.

I doubt the reason is "pretend to be a cop" - maybe pretend to be a taxi driver? As you see just as many and they get sold to the general public in auctions after the munincipalities replace them.
so what my mother can out run ur Saturn and btw GM dont make Saturns anymore so duh. it been on the news why Ford is upset people make others pull over when they r not cops. please do research. i must of been high on life when i put 400hp but they feel like it. maybe they only do 9secs to 60 cuz u didnt do pedal to the metal. omg people stop harrassing me ugh so stupid. muscle cars arent sports cars either.

Buddy, you can't type in English for sh1t so I'd suggest taking care of yourself before criticizing other people. Not to mention the Crown Vic was removed from public sale because they are running on an ancient platform that Ford has since replaced with newer vehicles. It has nothing to do with people impersonating police officers. The only reason they still sell them for fleet use as Taxi's and police vehicles is because they are durable and cheap to fix which makes them good in high mileage fields.

Wait, did he really resurrect a year-old thread just to continue an abandoned argument with no new information (or better command of the English language)?

That's dedication.
