So I put in an offer on a house that was listed the same day (on a Friday) and the asset manager rejected it and told my agent to wait until Monday because it's to soon. How is it to early to put it in an offer? Has anyone ever had this happen? Kinda pissed me off.

Some make you wait 5 days, some 10 days. Some allow owner occupants to have the first 10-12 days, and then investors can submit offers after that. They all have their own rules. They won't accept an offer the first day as they want to see what else comes in.

I assumed that as I have put an offer before on the same day it was listed but I never got a rejection, they just waited a few days to respond.

Every bank is different. And every listing agent is different. Some will not hold the offer and enter when available, they just tell you to re-submit when the time is right. I've had that happen.

Well I got my offer accepted on the house. Guess they wanted to wait 5 days. Off to the next step.
