I am following a house that is currently "Pending" and "Under Contract". It has been like this for approximately two months. The house has been on sale for over two years and had two previous "pending sale" before this third one. I am curious if it is normal to have a foreclosed house pending for two months, at what point in time should I inquire the sellers realtor about the house? I don't want to bother the realtor if it is about done but don't know if the deal is falling through.

If you're interested in the house, contact the listing agent now (or go through a Buyer's agent). Why would you wait? It's not a "bother" to an agent who is doing their job...plus they'd probably appreciate hearing of additional interest--even if it's only to push the pending sale along.

Foreclosures can take longer to close. When I purchased one back in 2008, my closing date got pushed back multiple times. It took about 10 weeks.
This time around, I am purchasing a non-foreclosure. From offer to closing will be about 4.5 weeks. I could have closed a week earlier if I had chosen to, but I'm in a lease.

I agree with the other poster- at least make a call. It can't hurt.

Hi,
I think, you should with a realtor about the house. He will give the answer to all your questions related to the house.
Thanks!!

If one is playing in that market, one should have the answers already versus asking Internet strangers for advice.
