Are there good and bad areas of Ft. Collins. We have three children from elementary to highschool and we would appreciate any feedback on schools in the areas.

Not really any "bad" areas of Fort Collins. There are a few lower income areas on the northeast side of the river, and a few more run-down areas on the northwest side of town. Of course, anywhere near CSU is going to attract the student crowd, which is known for late-night drinking parties, noise, shouting, that sort of thing.

Poudre school district is very highly sought after at all levels, and is regarded as one of the finest districts in the state. I was single when I lived in Fort Collins, so I don't have a lot of specific info.

I have found BAD to be a VERY relative term with talking about any state. What think is bad in SO CAL is far different than what other think of has bad in CO.
I have been to the "BAD" areas in the cities we were looking at and they are nowhere near what I would say a BAD area in So Cal. Take it all with a grain of salt
