I am going to have a free day in Fort Collins and was wondering what the closest malls were?

Any other shopping areas I should check out?

Thanks!

There is a mall, but it is closing in preparation for a renovation so shopping options there are limited. Your best bet for unique and local shopping is the Old Town district. There are lots of interesting shops and art galleries, along with several dining options.

For more typical shopping, the Front Range Village on Harmony has some options. Centerra east of Loveland is a destination shopping area.

All of these are outdoor shopping areas, so plan accordingly.

Yeah, Fort Collins isn't big (at the moment) on malls. Loveland's Centarra would be the nearest place for "mall-ish" stuff.

As Mike mentions, there are other options, including shopping in the Old Town district. That's more in line with the atmosphere of the area; smaller unique and one-off stores.
