I'll be going to the boat show in Annapolis next month and will look around. Hopefully some of the book/chart vendors will have something I can view before buying.

No, it is a LOCALLY produced spiral bound book, about 9 x 12 with probably 5 pages in it. It is laminated and waterproof, so you can take it on the boat with you. Each page has a chart on one side, and a numerical list showing each destination with a little write up about each spot.

You will not find it on line or anywhere else, only the local West Marine Stores in Cape Coral and Ft Myers carry it, as well as one other place I know of, Sea and Shore in Cape Coral. Since it is simply a local publication, and the company is small, you will not find it anywhere but the places I mentioned. But it is such a popular/informational piece, that those stores can not keep it in stock.

If you want one before you get to Florida, simply call (239) 540-7300 (WM Cape Coral) or (239) 985-6700 (WM Ft Myers) and they will ship one to you via UPS. I have no dog in this fight, other than to try to pass along to a fellow boater some very helpful information.

I've lived here since 1982, and there are places in this book that even I did not know existed.

Any thoughts or suggestions of other places that have adequate docking for a quick bite to eat?

There's also 3 fisherman, Joe's crabshack The boathouse, and there used to be a place in Labelle if you're going up the locks to as well. I would suggest sticking near the gulf.
