Smile Cape Coral High Schools - Mariner vs. Cape Coral

Does anyone have any information about these schools? I have already been to the Parent Confernce Center in Fort Myers and looked up on the local school site and have statistics and all that. What I am looking for is anyone who has had children who go to these schools and have any info on the childs quality of life there. For example, are the kids friendly? My daughter will be a junior and am concerned that she will make friends, ok. She is very shy and "artsy" not the cheerleader type. I will be moving next week and will be registering her and hopefully I will still have a "choice" between the 2 schools.
Thanks for any insights you can share!
